Centre Roy Hibbert had 14 points and eight rebounds as the Pacers (3-5) closed preseason play with three consecutive victories. The Mavericks (4-4) were led by forward Dirk Nowitzki with 14 points and small forward Shawn Marion added 10. The Pacers trailed 51-43, their largest deficit, early in the third period before the 13-point run. They never trailed again, and the final margin equaled their largest lead. Pacers small forward Danny Granger missed his third consecutive game with a strained calf.
