Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken in pursuit of a starting job, shedding former journeyman status

Kamar Aiken had never caught a pass Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale in an NFL regular season game prior to last year, becoming a fixture on the waiver wire as he was cut six times in his first three seasons.

Aiken emerged as a key contributor to the Ravens' passing game and special teams last season after beating the odds to make the roster.

Now, Aiken is competing for a starting job. At the least, Aiken figures into the Ravens'.

Denver Broncos head coach and former Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said that he has a pretty good idea about the makeup of his starting offensive line and all indications are that the unit will include Gino Gradkowski at center. Gradkowski, who lost his starting job with the Ravens to Jeremy Zuttah and was traded to the Broncos in April, is competing against 2014 sixth round pick Matt Paradis.

Following his most successful season statistically a career high 3,986 yards and 27 touchdown passes Flacco said recently he could envision himself playing another decade in the NFL into his 40s.

Flacco has started 112 consecutive games through seven NFL seasons.

"I don feel any worse because of my age yet," Flacco said.
