There's no questioning C.J. Prosise's talent Josh Allen Jersey Youth , only his ability to remain on the football field.

The third-year running back for the Seattle Seahawks has been plagued by injuries throughout his first two years in the NFL. From serious ailments like a fractured scapula, broken wrist bone and high-ankle sprains to more minor ones like groin, hamstring and hip strains, Prosise has been sidelined constantly.

With Chris Carson back from injury himself and Seattle using their first-round pick on San Diego State back Rashaad Penny, there is an urgency for Prosise to be able to stay healthy and contribute regularly this season.

Prosise spent the offseason trying to get physically ready to make the most of what could be a final opportunity with Seattle.

"I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life," Prosise said. "I feel like I can do anything on the field. I feel 100 percent and ready to go so I'm excited for this camp. We play a physical game and injuries happen and you can't avoid it. This offseason was geared around getting my body prepared to take the punishment that my body needs to take and so my body is in that position to do that now. So I'm ready to play."

Prosise buckled down with a personal trainer this offseason and was focused on putting himself in a position to withstand the types of injuries that had hampered him his first two seasons.

"That was a big change I made," Prosise said. "Before this I didn't put as much work as I should have been putting in. Now, I've kind of figured out my regimen. And also just getting on the field every day and working with drills Authentic Justin Upton Jersey , specific running back drills and stuff. For the most part hitting the weight room really hard and getting my body toned up and ready for the season is really what's helped the most."

Prosise has played in just 11 games in his two years in Seattle. But the limited action was still enough to show the type of player he can be when he's in peak form. As a rookie in his first career start, he gained 153 yards from scrimmage in a victory over a New England Patriots team that would go on to the win the Super Bowl. His ability to perform both as a runner and as a receiver out of the backfield caused fits for the Patriots defense.

A week later, Prosise broke free for a 72-yard touchdown run against the Philadelphia Eagles. Then Prosise was sidelined when he broke his shoulder blade late in the first half and missed the rest of the season.

A pair of high-ankle sprains held him to just five games played a year ago as well.

Maybe it's the same tease he's provided in his first two camps with Seattle but Prosise is again drawing praise in the early stages of training camp.

"I'm so fired up for him," head coach Pete Carroll said. "He's always been such a terrific potential guy and he has just not been able to stay healthy. He's leaner and stronger. He just is more fit, which screams at how hard he worked and how important this is to him. Couldn't send a better message."

The old adage that your greatest ability is your availability couldn't be more apt when it comes to Prosise. All of his potential will go unrealized if he's not available on Sundays due to injuries. But as Seattle tries to right a rushing attack that managed just one rushing touchdown from the running back position all last season, having an athlete like Prosise at its disposal would be welcome.

NOTES: LB Joshua Perry, who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this week due to concussions, told NBC's "Today Show" on Thursday that he believes the NFL is doing enough when it comes to concussions. "I think the hardest part.is the research is a little bit fuzzy. I think that we do a great job in terms of the protocol that the NFL has. Coaches aren't pressuring players to get back Authentic John Tavares Jersey , I think players feel their own type of pressure to be there for their teammates." Perry had a long post on social media earlier this week announcing he was stepping away after suffering a sixth concussion in the opening days of training camp. Perry was a fourth-round pick of the Chargers in 2016. He signed with Seattle in June.

MILWAUKEE — Slowly but surely, Chase Anderson is reverting to the form that led to a breakout season a year ago.

The Milwaukee Brewers‘ right-hander returns to action Sunday afternoon to wrap up a three-game weekend series against the Philadelphia Phillies at Miller Park fresh off his best outing since opening day.

In Tuesday’s 4-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs, he allowed a hit and walked two in seven innings. He struck out six and earned his first win since May 21.

“It was Chase getting back to what we saw last year,” Brewers manager Craig Counsell said “You could tell right away that his fastball, specifically, had a different gear tonight. Just by the hitters’ swings.”

Anderson went 12-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 25 starts a year ago, cementing his spot in Milwaukee’s rotation. Counsell tabbed the 30-year old to start the season opener and Anderson (5-5, 4.13 ERA this season) answered the call with six shutout innings against the San Diego Padres.

He’s been up and down since http://www.steelersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-mason-rudolph-jersey , posting a 5.03 ERA over 11 starts — with a two-week stint on the disabled list for illness mixed in — between Opening Day and Tuesday.

“My arm has been feeling pretty good overall,” Anderson said after facing Chicago. “Tonight, was the best I felt since I came back off the DL. It’s good to know that it’s still in the tank.”

Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola also comes into the game after a strong showing his last time out. Nola allowed one run and struck out 10 over 6 2/3 innings in Philadelphia’s 5-4 victory over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Nola (8-2, 2.27 ERA) is making a case to represent the Phillies in the All-Star Game next month, going 7-1 with a 2.30 ERA over his last 10 starts. He’s held opponents to a run or fewer in six of those outings and has allowed more than three runs once while striking out 75 batters with only 13 walks in 66 2/3 innings.

“He was exactly what we expected him to be, a guy who we can rely on,” Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said. “He’s a special kind of competitor.”

The Phillies will attempt to win their second straight series after losing seven of eight games. Philadelphia evened the series with a 4-1 victory despite striking out 14 times, stranding a season-high 15 runners and going 2-for-14 with runners in scoring position.

Rhys Hoskins hit a 431-foot homer and recorded three hits. He is 9-for-25 in seven games since returning from a broken jaw.

“Obviously Cheap Tracy Walker Jersey , he set the tone with the big home run to left field,” Kapler said. “It is incredibly important for us to have him swinging the bat like he is.”

Milwaukee has scored at least 12 runs in three of its five meetings with the Phillies this season but has yet to face Nola, who’s 3-0 with a 1.38 ERA in four career starts against the Brewers. Nola also is 1-0 mark with a 2.08 ERA in two starts in Milwaukee.

Anderson, meanwhile, hasn’t enjoyed the same success facing Philadelphia. In four career starts, he’s 1-2 with a 5.85 ERA.

Sunday will mark Anderson’s first appearance against the Phillies since June 2, 2016 when he allowed a run on three hits while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings in a 4-1 Brewers victory at Citizens Bank Park.

A victory in the finale would give Milwaukee its third consecutive series victory and 15th of the season.
