Andreas Athanasiou took the puck near the blue line, skated in and backhanded it toward the front of the goal, where Dylan Larkin was open.“I saw the lane to the net,” Larkin said. “I knew he was going to get it to me, so I just tried to put myself on the far side of the net.” Larkin scored with 5.1 seconds remaining in overtime, capping an impressive late comeback by the Detroit Red Wings in a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers on Friday night.
