LIVERPOOL, England -- Liverpool made Aly Cissokho its fifth signing of the summer after taking the France defender on a season-long loan from Valencia. The 25-year-old Cissokho, who has also played for FC Porto and Lyon, will provide competition for Jose Enrique at left back. "Ive always dreamt of one day signing for a really legendary club," said Cissokho, whose one France cap came in August 2010 against Norway. "Ive been lucky enough to play for a few top sides, and so to now get the chance to play for a club like Liverpool, its just fantastic." Valencia said Liverpool has the option of buying the pacy Cissokho at the end of his loan deal. Cissokho joined the Spanish club on a four-year contract from Lyon last summer. While playing for Porto earlier in his career, he was reportedly close to a move to AC Milan before a medical test showed Cissokho apparently had a dental problem that could cause muscular injuries.
