The Tennessee Titans say they are releasing defensive lineman Karl Klug after seven years with the franchise.

General manager Jon Robinson said Friday that he appreciates all of Klug’s hard work with Tennessee.

A fifth-round pick in 2011 out of Iowa Jerrell Freeman Jersey , Klug started eight of his 109 games played for the Titans. Klug had 178 tackles, 21 sacks Kyle Williams Jersey , 67 quarterback pressures and forced five fumbles. He returned a recovered fumble for a touchdown in 2013 against the Jets.

Klug had 26 tackles and 1 sacks in 15 games last season in his return from a torn Achilles tendon at the end of the 2016 season. That earned him the Titans’ Ed Block Courage Award.

The sudden passing of Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano left the team with an opening at a key staff position. The Vikings will fill it with a pair of coaches.

The Vikings have announced that Clancy Barone and Andrew Janocko will serve as co-offensive line coaches. Barone previously served as the team’s tight ends coach. Janocko had been the assistant offensive line coach.

Former Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing will replace Barone as the tight ends coach. He previously spent 2001 through 2005 with the Vikings, in a variety of roles.
