Beitrag I know most individuals do not like sports games
You are considering 2K that isn't an EA game. They kill servers following 18 months I believe. Which locks you from a large portion of Mut 21 coins the content since they induce you to be online for anything besides play today to do the job. Consumers get exactly what they paid for. The sport title fans did it to themselves. Like 2k does with their sports games? You get 18 weeks of servers, then you need to purchase the new you to keep playing online. 18 months, holy shit, that's even shorter lifespan than Battleforge had. (now as enthusiast project Skylords Reborn) Yes, instead of charging nothing for the rosters, they effectively devote a negligible sum of money and cost you 60$ for it.

Since Madden's business model is built around Ultimate Team, a match mode where you slowly accumulate more powerful players within the course of the year (hopefully by buying random packs, of course). EA spends the year in a drip feed, where they keep bumping the standard of players that you get. It's scummy, however, the entire Madden franchise relies on people spending hundreds on MUT and then leaping to the next game a year after. On the flip-side, if you do not care about being always up-to-date with rosters, most sports games now have profound"end-of-life" sales just before another one comes out.

That's how I've bought the Madden games I have. Hell the latest NBA2K was on steam for like 92 percent off the other day. They do it the MUT players need to restart their collection every season. EA does not really change much with each Madden series. I Play franchise, and I'm honestly okay with older rosters. If Metacritic scores appears to bear significance to revenue then they would care. Metacritic scores matter to publishers when it provides them the opportunity to screw over developers. Might create some stockholders ears perk up a bit, but I don't see much besides that.

I know most individuals do not like sports games, but PC users get the brief end of the stick even with these shitty sports sport. This time NBA2K isn't even releasing the next-gen basketball game on PC, just on the next-gen consoles. PC users are getting the same game using an updated roster with the price of a brand new game. There are no decent sports games on PC. The shitty part is at their center sports games can be a lot of fun. I actually really used to enjoy the career node in 2K before it turned into a microtransaction shit hole. Sports games got affected the most because of MTX. 2k is so greedy, they left the career mode online just. I'm happy I lost interest in sport titles before mtx got incorporated. Got tired of paying to buy Madden nfl 21 coins get a brand new title if I wanted a roster updates. Just lost interest in annual franchises generally. They sure are amazing cash makers though, so the genre will always be what it is.
